About the Candidate
Skip Shelton is a technology executive and former counterterrorism official from California's Inland Empire who is running for Lieutenant Governor to restore opportunity and common-sense leadership in the Golden State.
Raised in Southern California with the values of hard work, service, and personal responsibility, Skip pursued a career protecting the country and advancing American innovation. He served in national security and counterterrorism roles supporting U.S. government operations overseas and later moved into the technology sector, working with companies that support national security and advanced computing.
Today Skip works at the intersection of technology, national security, and economic growth. His career reflects the promise of the American Dream — the belief that with determination, service, and innovation, anyone can build a better future.
